Interesting.... we will have to keep our eye out for a solution to that problem! There are some mighty creative people who come up with slick ideas. Hopefully someone in the industry will develop a solution.

I also, have issues with the "side" issues. I cannot determine if I am too close on the right side as my Mercedes no longer has the hood ornament that I used to determine distances on my left and right.
In reply to <a href="https://allgaragefloors.com/best-garage-parking-aids/comment-page-1/#comment-107840">Bridget</a>.

Hi Bridget. We know of someone who had a very similar issue and they solved it using the laser light parking aids. What they did was mount the unit on the ceiling as close as they could to the open garage door, but not so close that the door would interfere with the light. It was mounted directly in line with the driver. Once it was mounted, the car was moved into position where they wanted it to be when first entering the garage (before the mirror would pass by the opening). They then adjusted the laser light to shine along a part of the hood in front of the driver that made it easy to identify that the car was aligned correctly for entering the garage. If, when the car was first entering the garage and the laser light shined to the left of that marker on hood, they knew they had to turn left to clear the mirror or back up and try again.

Is there anything to guide you in and warns of the right side of the car being too close to the wall. I have no side depth perception (blind in right eye) and am always approach very slowly and even then sometimes I hit the mirror and have to start over. It is so frustrating. Fore and aft are no problem, it's just the passenger side! I see all kinds of products to help avoid the front or clear the back, but nothing for the side. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
