Hi Fred. Matt didn't use anti-slip media for his particular clear coating. Hi Al. It all depends on how you plan to use the area. If it's mostly foot traffic and light projects, then one coating would suffice. However, if you will be parking cars, doing maintenance work, projects, vehicle repairs, and etc., then two coats is preferable. After the first coat is applied, you have to wait 2-4 hours before a second coat can be applied. It's humidity dependent in terms of the curing time. Legacy Industrial provides the application instructions.

Should you do multiple coats of the Norh-S top coat? If so, do you have to wait for each layer to dry/cure before adding another coat? Thanks!

Hi Steve. Yes, in most cases a good acid stain will etch the concrete enough for Norh-S or a similar clear top coat.

If using acid stain instead of Delta's water stain, you wouldn't need to do the acid etch as a prep step, correct? Acid stain serves as the etching for the Norh topcoat?
