In reply to Cat. Hi Cat. The type of winter weather you describe would not be suitable for carpet tiles. Instead, we would recommend an open style of interlocking tile like these discussed here. Another option would be the use of a garage floor containment mat. These actually collect the snow and slush in order to keep the floor dry. You can just squeegee what you collect right out the garage door.

How do the carpet tiles work with winter weather? Living in the Midwest, melting snow and slush off our cars is a concern. I am trying to address a very slippery garage floor, particularly when it’s wet. Will the carpet tiles hold up to the winter slush?

I was interested in your Interlocking Garage Carpet tiles. However, instead of for a garage it will be for a home show display space. So I had questions as to how it holds up, if its easy to put together and take apart. We have heavy Kitchen Displays that we put in our space, so will that ruin the tiles. And of course pricing. I need this info asap so if something can get back to me as soon as possible, please that would be great!
