Hi Jake. They all allow creepers, chairs, and toolboxes to roll easily. Some diamond styles are a little bumpy when rolling, but that’s all. We’ve used interlocking tiles in two garages now where we do a lot of vehicle maintenance and mechanical work. They are very easy to clean, easier than the carpet mat. I figured as much. Thank you for the reply. Are there any that mimic this kind of carpet like quality while still being durable, easy to clean, and allow easy rolling for creepers and the like?

Hi Jake. No, it would actually make the problem worse. It will block moisture from evaporating and cause water to collect under the mat. If you have a moisture issue and want flooring for the garage, your best bet is interlocking floor tile. They are designed to allow air circulation under the tile so that moisture can evaporate and allow the concrete to dry.

Would this work with moisture coming up through the concrete?

Hi Scott. Yes, it holds a decent amount of water if your floor is level. If it’s sloped, it tends to run downhill as it pools. This is because the synthetic fibers do not absorb liquids. If you want something that will hold gallons of water, then you may want to consider a containment mat like these here.
