Hello Gregory. Most garage floors slope slightly for water drainage. The only time you may have an issue is if the floor is contoured to slope around a drain. Large format tiles (18"x18", 24x24) should be avoided if there are slope changes or breaks in the slope as their size does not allow for the tile to conform well. 12"x12" tiles and varying the thickness of the thinset works much better with slope changes and breaks in the slope.

We do not provide a concise punch list because the time required and materials used can vary depending on the installer (DIY - Pro), the initial condition of the floor, possible moisture considerations, weather region, and etc.

My garage is not flat as it slopes apparently for water drainage. How would that affect tile installation? Please print a concise ‘punch list’ of what time requirement and what an installer should use. That would be very helpful

Hi Robert. You need to use a tile cutter. Some are manual and some are powered. If you don't want to buy one, they can be rented from home improvement centers.

Hi Greg. Unlike VCT tiles, black and white porcelain colors are considered more luxurious. You may have to go visit a tile store to see what they can order for you.
